You’ve decided you’re renting a boat for your event or celebration; awesome decision! Besides what to bring on the day, there are a few additional add-on options to consider.
In the following blog we will be taking you through the different add-on options and the prices to expect. So there won’t be any surprises for you and you can completely relax and enjoy the experience.
The best value for money option will most likely be to bring your own food. Most boats have onboard BBQs to cook your food and large eskies to store your food. You can nominate one of your guests to look after the cooking of the food, or the skipper / deckhand can assist. We will let you know upon booking if your boat has the BYO food option available so there will be no surprises.
BBQ packages are often selected by party-goers who are planning to move/dance around a bit and enjoy a swim. Nothing is more rewarding than having the BBQ ready for you when the hunger kicks in or when you get out of the water. BBQ packages can be as simple as sausages and steaks, large prawns, marinated chicken and vegetable skewers. A basic BBQ selection or Sausage Sizzle package typically starts at $20 per person.
Canapés are popular bite sized food items, great for easy eating. They allow a social setting as they enable guests to enjoy the food whilst moving freely around the boat. Perfect for your guests to make the most of different spaces and views. Recommended for large groups, corporate events and hens parties. Canapés packages vary from $40pp to $80pp.
Platters are popular for our smaller groups and people who prefer having a slightly lighter food option in comparison with BBQ packages. There are a variety of platter options, from antipasto, sushi and cheese to fruit and dessert platters. Recommended for hens parties and intimate birthday parties. Platters vary from $40 – $100 per platter.
Buffets are great for large groups. They don’t just offer a significant amount of food, people can also help themselves in a relaxed setting and there will be something for everyone’s liking. A buffet spread typically starting from $50pp

The best value for money option will most likely be to bring your own drinks. Most boats have large eskies onboard to keep your drinks nice and cold. We will let you know upon booking if your boat has the BYO option available and/or if a BYO fee applies so there will be no surprises.
If you would rather give the organisation of drinks out of hand, a few of our partners offer handy drink packages. There are beer, wine and soft drink packages available and beer, wine and spirits. Rates for the drink packages depend on the selection and vary between $55pp – $105pp for a 4 hour cruise.
Cash bars are only limited available on a small selection of our boats. The selection of a cash bar usually requires a minimum spend and additional waitstaff.
Some of our boats have power sources allowing DJs play their sets on board. We will let you know upon booking if having a DJ onboard is possible on your cruise. Options and pricing available upon request, but on average expect to pay $125+ per hour with a minimum play time of 4 hours.
A popular option for hens parties and girl’s cruises. Your topless male waiter can serve drinks to guests on arrival, pamper special guests, host party games, serve canapés, mix & serve cocktails and pose for a life drawing class. The minimum time you can hire a topless male waiter is 2 hours. Photos and pricing available upon request.
A popular option for bucks parties and boy cruises. Your topless waitress can serve drinks to guests on arrival, pamper special guests, host party games, serve canapés and serve drinks. The minimum time you can hire a topless waitress is 2 hours. Photos and pricing available upon request.
Also a popular option for both hens parties and bucks parties. Show length 10-15 minutes. Photos and pricing available upon request.
A popular option for corporate entertainment, team building and bucks/hens parties. The host provides all equipment including laser converted shotguns, scoreboard, discs, and launcher. You will have a whale of a time firing the shotguns (with completely harmless infrared beams) trying to be the best on the boat. The duration of a laser shoot session is usually 1-1.5 hours. Pricing available upon request.
A fun add-on if your group is planning to jump in the Harbour and enjoy a swim. Groups love hanging out on lily pads and enjoy taking paddleboards for a spin. Pricing usually starts at $50 per item.
If you require an extra pick up or drop off somewhere, on top of the two that are included in your booking, a fee might apply. Pricing varies from $30 – $50 per stop, depending on the boat and location.
