Typically, the uni boat packages include a hire time of 3-4 hours. 

Typically, uni boats are available for hire during the afternoon or evening. Afternoon hires typically start at either 1pm or 2pm, while evening hires usually begin at 6pm or 7pm. Let us know your preferred time, and we will provide you with information on the available options.

The typical inclusions for university party cruise packages are a vessel, a professional skipper, and a crew to navigate and manage the boat, an unlimited drinks package which includes wine and beer for guests over 18 years of age, a buffet or pizza, and a DJ with a dance floor.

We will give you a complete and clear explanation of what is covered in the event package and let you know if there are any extra charges you need to be aware of.

It’s a good idea to book ahead of time so you can get the boat, date, and time you want, especially if it’s a popular one. We suggest booking at least three months in advance to be safe.

But we understand that sometimes you might need to book at the last minute, and we have lots of experience assisting with that. If you need to plan a university social party on short notice, we’ll try our best to find you a great available option!

Guests who are under 18 years old are not able to access alcoholic beverages. However, some boats may use a wristband system that allows mixed-aged groups of under 18s and 18+ to attend the event together.

For guests who are 18 years old and over, beer, wine, and soft drinks are available with an unlimited flow option. Additionally, some boats may provide upgrades to include spirits.

We also have vessels available that offer a cash bar option. We will confirm you options upon enquiring.

To comply with the RSA guidelines, it is mandatory to have enough food available during your cruise. The food options vary depending on the vessel and may include a buffet, pizza, or other alternatives. We will provide you with a quote that outlines the food options available for your specific vessel.

The majority of our university social vessels come equipped with a DJ and dance floor as part of the package to get the party started! However, if you prefer to bring your own DJ, it is also possible to do so. Upon enquiry, we will provide you with information on the requirements and equipment that the DJ must bring.

Swimming isn’t a common activity during university boat parties, but some of our day cruises offer the opportunity to take a dip! If your vessel has easy access to the water, the captain can take you to the best and most secluded swimming spots. Please let us know upon enquiry if you’re interested in swimming.

Boats will set sail in all weather conditions deemed safe by the captain. However, in the event that the captain deems the weather unsafe and cancels the charter, you will be issued a voucher that’s valid for 12 months. This voucher will be equivalent to the value of your original booking, allowing you to reschedule your charter for another time.

Don’t worry if there’s a little rain, though! We’ve had plenty of groups cruise with us in less-than-ideal weather conditions, and they’ve all had a blast. All boats have plenty of covered areas to keep you dry, and sometimes, a bit of rain can even add to the fun!
